Mammary tumors should not wait
It is recommended that mammary tumors in dogs and cats are always removed. Right now we are offering a favorable price for a first visit. The visit includes:
- Examination of a lump in the udder
- Blood tests before anesthesia
- Planning for possible surgery
- Price: 1,900 SEK (regular price 3,500 SEK)
Metastasis X-rays are always offered before surgery for mammary tumors, for a safe and correct treatment plan. Contact us and we will tell you more about how we can help you.

Practical information before the visit
To make your visit as smooth as possible, we have collected a few short points:
- Arrival: Please report to reception when you arrive. If you have a very stressed or aggressive animal, please let us know in advance and we can wait in a separate room or in the car.
- Records: If you have previously visited another clinic, it is a good idea to ask them to send your records to us in advance.
- Payment: We offer direct settlement with most insurance companies to make it easier for you as a pet owner.

Booking and preparation
Each visit begins with a dialogue about your pet's needs. We set aside plenty of time to work without stress and are happy to help you retrieve previous medical records in advance. By being prepared, we can focus fully on the patient immediately upon arrival.
A quiet welcome
We create a stress-free environment with low noise levels for your animal's safety. Upon arrival, you will quickly be assigned your own room to avoid waiting room stress. We always let the animal familiarize itself with the surroundings in peace and quiet before the examination begins.
Investigation and dialogue
At our clinic in Östermalm, we offer everything from basic care to advanced surgery and imaging diagnostics. We explain each step continuously and develop a clear care plan. If you need specialist care, we will of course help you with referrals.
Home visit and follow-up
We will go through the treatment together and help you with direct settlement with your insurance company on site. Our care continues after the visit with clear instructions for home care and quick availability for your questions.
We offer direct settlement with all insurance companies
VetAtHome offers both clinic visits, home visits and visits to our veterinary practices – what is best depends on your animal's needs and what feels most convenient for you. We work with all insurance companies, making it easy to get help regardless of your insurance coverage.
What payment methods do you offer?
We offer card payment, Swish or Klarna. You pay quickly and easily when the visit is complete.
My partner is registered on the insurance, can I still use the service?
You can always use our service regardless of whether you have insurance or not. The owner in our records does not have to be the same as the owner on the insurance to be able to use the animal's insurance.
Does my insurance apply?
We work with all insurance companies. As long as the reason for the visit is covered by your insurance company, it will of course also apply to us.
Can I cancel a home visit?
Yes, you can! You can cancel your visit free of charge up to 24 hours before the visit. You can do this through the confirmation email sent to the email address provided when you booked the home visit.
A cancellation later than 24 hours will be charged a fee between 900-1795 SEK depending on the booking.

We are currently located in Greater Stockholm (but soon in more locations in Sweden). Try and see if we can come to your home. here

Our experienced veterinarians can help you with your dog, cat, rabbit, rodent, reptile or bird!
How do home visits work?
How much does it cost to use the service?
It can sometimes be difficult to say in advance what the total cost of a visit will be. Each procedure performed by the veterinarian or our healthcare staff has a set price, but often you do not know in advance exactly what interventions are needed, so the price in each individual case can vary. You will receive a cost estimate before the treatment begins to decide whether you want to carry out the treatment or not.
If you live more than 40 kilometers from central Stockholm, we charge a transportation fee. See our price list for an example of a bill.

Do you want us to come to your home?
We offer veterinary care both at the clinic and in our customers' homes. If your animal feels best receiving care in a safe and stress-free environment, we can come to your home instead.
